Britain's new Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, announced his first conversation with Zelenskyy

The newly appointed Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Andy Burnham, announced that among his first international contacts in office will be telephone conversations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. President Donald Trump.

The British official emphasized London’s unwavering stance and assured that the United Kingdom would continue to be a reliable partner to Ukraine.

The head of government stressed that the change in leadership will not affect the country’s course, and that aid to Kyiv will be provided in full, just as it was under his predecessor, Keir Starmer. Burnam also added that his previous experience working with Ukrainian cities during his tenure as mayor of Greater Manchester will help further strengthen bilateral relations.
