Tkach spoke about the role of Yermak and Arakhamia in Fedorov's resignation
Investigative journalist Mykhailo Tkach stated that Andriy Yermak, the former head of the Office of the President, and Davyd Arakhamia, the head of the “Servant of the People” parliamentary faction, supported the idea of former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov’s resignation. According to him, they are among the inner circle of people whom President Volodymyr Zelenskyy listens to.
Mykhailo Tkach, head of the investigative department at Ukrayinska Pravda, stated that former Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak and “Servant of the People” parliamentary faction leader Davyd Arakhamia supported the resignation of former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.

According to Tkach, although the configuration of power has changed, Yermak continues to influence important decisions.
“There are people around the president—a close circle… whom he listens to and who advise him. These people have their own logic… It’s clear that Andriy Yermak remains, though not in the same capacity as before. We’ve heard from more than five sources who claim he’s involved in this situation. He has his own motive,” Tkach said.
The journalist also stated that Davyd Arakhamia is among those who influence the president.
According to Tkach, he received information from sources in political circles that the head of the “Servant of the People” faction did not persuade the president to keep Fedorov in office.
“It is clear that Davyd Arakhamia, who rose in prominence following Andriy Yermak’s resignation, is also among the group of people the president listens to. And I also know from sources in political circles that Arakhamia was not the one who dissuaded the president from dismissing Mykhailo Fedorov—quite the opposite, in fact. These are the two main figures as of now,” the journalist stated.
Separately, Tkach expressed the view that political factors may also have influenced the decision to dismiss Fedorov.
“It seems to me that political ambitions—and the fact that the president was being pressured with the idea that Mykhailo Fedorov might run in some election—were also a factor,” he said.
At the same time, the journalist emphasized that he was referring to information received from his sources, as well as his own assessment of the situation.
So far, Andriy Yermak, Davyd Arakhamia, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and Mykhailo Fedorov have not publicly commented on these statements. There has also been no official reaction from the Office of the President or the “Servant of the People” faction to Mykhailo Tkach’s remarks. The journalist discussed this during a live broadcast of “UP-Chat.”
Investigators are insisting on keeping Yermak in custody with a probable bail set at 180 million hryvnias, given the scale of the financial transactions in the “Dynasty” cottage community. The judge continues to review procedural matters and is setting a schedule for further hearings.
On the evening of May 11, after receiving a notice of suspicion from the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, former Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak stated that he would not comment on the matter during the investigation.
The Verkhovna Rada is not considering the dismissal of Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko. Nor is there any discussion of appointing a new head of the ministry, said Davyd Arakhamia.
