Fedorov commented on Zelenskyy's decision to appoint Drapato
Former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov congratulated Major General Mykhailo Drapato on his appointment as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“This brings a breath of fresh air and new hope to the struggle of free people for freedom and justice. It is a voice of change that could not be ignored,” the former defense minister noted.
Now, he emphasized, the high expectations of Ukrainians must be met with a clear vision for ending the war for independence, a strong team, and decisive actions aimed at saving the lives of our soldiers, mechanizing the front lines, launching asymmetric strikes, and crippling the Russian economy.

As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Major General Mykhailo Drapaty, commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, replacing Oleksandr Syrskyi.
On July 21, Oleksandr Syrskyi was relieved of his duties as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In several cities across Ukraine, people once again took to the streets to rally in support of Fedorov.
