The head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation has filed a lawsuit against MP Getmantsev
He added that the lawsuit will be grounded in Ukrainian law and the practice of the European Court of Human Rights, which defines the boundaries between freedom of speech and liability for disseminating false information.
“Everyone has the right to criticism, their own opinion, and public debate, but no one has the right to spread false statements about a specific person, especially when it comes to accusations of crimes, corruption, or other illegal acts,” the lawyer added.
According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation: 120 services based on open data are currently operating in Ukraine.
