The Security Service of Ukraine has announced that it has charged the head of a seized medical university in occupied Luhansk with collaborating with the Russian authorities.
This was reported by the SBU.
According to the investigation, the suspect is a graduate of the same university, previously worked in Rostov-on-Don, and returned to Luhansk at the end of 2024, where he headed the educational institution established by the occupiers.
In his position, he is involved in integrating the university into the Russian Federation’s educational system and implementing Russian educational standards.
Law enforcement officials have established that the university also trains medical personnel for the Russian army—students are taught tactical medicine and sent for practical training to military hospitals.
He is charged with collaboration. The investigation is ongoing.
The SBU and the Prosecutor General’s Office announcednew charges against Kolomoyskyi.
Additionally, Kolomoyskyiclaimed that the expert analysis was falsified in a Kyiv court.
Kolomoyskyi will remain in pretrial detention until May 1.
