Odesa has been living without stable electricity for a week following a large-scale Russian attack on the city’s energy infrastructure. In some areas, water supply has also been disrupted. Rescuers have shown how the city is coping with the aftermath of the strike and what assistance is being provided to residents, according to the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).

After the massive Russian shelling of energy facilities, Odesa has remained without power for the seventh consecutive day. Due to damage to critical infrastructure, certain districts are also experiencing problems with water supply.

SES rescuers published photos from the city and described how Odesa residents are currently managing. Rescue units from various regions of Ukraine have arrived to assist the city. They are working around the clock, supporting residents in the most affected areas.
“Rescuers from different regions of Ukraine have arrived to help Odesa residents. In areas without water, tanker trucks with drinking and technical water have been deployed,” the SES reported.

In addition, “Points of Invincibility” are operating in the city. Some of them are located at fire and rescue stations. There, residents can warm up, charge their phones, get water, and receive basic assistance.
“At the Points of Invincibility, there is light, heat, and water available around the clock. Odesa residents can come there at any time,” rescuers reminded.
