One of the buildings of Okhmatdyt has been entered into the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine

The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine has added the building of the former outpatient clinic of the Okhmatdyt National Children’s Specialized Hospital in Kyiv to the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine

This historic building sustained significant damage during a brutal Russian missile attack on July 8, 2024. 

According to the new departmental order No. 608 dated May 26, the “Outpatient Clinic of the Free Hospital, 1899–1901” has been added to the register under the category of cultural heritage sites of local significance. 

The historic building is located at 28/1 Chornovola V’yacheslava Street, where Building No. 9 of the “Okhmatdyt” Children’s Hospital is currently fully operational. 

As previously reported by the Ministry of Health, the administrative building of the Okhmatdyt National Children’s Specialized Hospital is an architectural landmark that sustained damage as a result of a Russian missile attack on July 8, 2024.

As a reminder, the Ministry of Health received a request from the Ministry of Defense for medical personnel for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The armor of specialists needed by the army will be removed.

We have also previously reported that following the missile strike on the Okhmatdyt National Children’s Specialized Hospital in July 2024, restoration work is actively underway at the facility. Since then, a number of hospital buildings have already been rebuilt.
