On May 27, severe weather hit several regions of Ukraine—a weather front brought heavy rain, hail, and gusty winds, which caused trees to fall and disrupted traffic on the roads.
The regions most affected by the storm were Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Lviv, Ternopil, Cherkasy, and Zhytomyr. In some areas, trees fell onto roads, blocking traffic, and strong winds damaged infrastructure.
Forecasters warned that wind gusts on May 27 could reach 20 m/s.
