The Office of the President has revealed details of Zelenskyy’s meeting with Trump in New York
Volodymyr Zelenskyy plans to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump in New York on September 22.
The main topics of discussion will be diplomatic efforts to end the war, energy, and a review of the outcomes of previous meetings with U.S. Presidential Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
The leaders also intend to discuss a “winter support” package for Ukraine, which includes the provision of additional air defense systems, and the possibility of licensed production in Ukraine of missiles for Patriot air defense systems.
The Office of the President of Ukraine provided this information to “Suspilne.”
Meanwhile, Zelenskyy outlined a condition for halting strikes on Russian oil refineries.
Earlier, Trump claimed that an agreement had allegedly been reached between Ukraine and Russia not to attack energy infrastructure, but this turned out to be a figment of his imagination.
Ukraine has proposed that Russia agree to cease strikes on infrastructure, according to Zelenskyy.
