Ostapchuk and his family are moving abroad
TV host Volodymyr Ostapchuk plans to relocate with his wife and son and move outside of Ukraine.
His wife, Kateryna Ostapchuk, announced this on her Instagram, also revealing which country they have chosen to live in and what the TV host will be doing abroad.

According to Kateryna Ostapchuk, she and her husband had been planning the move a year ago. Ultimately, the family decided to emigrate to Canada. As the blogger explained, a visit to Volodymyr Ostapchuk’s home in Kyiv was the deciding factor in the move.
“Dear readers, our family has decided to move to Canada. We started thinking about this decision a year ago, but emigration is a difficult step, so personally I found 1,091 reasons to put it off, but the final push for this decision came when we visited my husband’s home, which served as an internal catalyst and, as it were, the last straw,” wrote the host’s wife.
It turned out that Volodymyr Ostapchuk is a resident of Canada, and his children from a previous marriage also live there. So he and his wife decided to move to Canada; the family plans to live in two countries.
“I love Ukraine and Kyiv with all my heart, but I have to think not only about myself but also about Tymofii. Personally, it’s easier for me emotionally not to view this decision as final, so I’m reserving the right to hope for a return. At least for now, we’ll be living in two countries,” Ostapchuk noted.
Kateryna Ostapchuk’s followers responded to her Stories, noting that Ukraine would now have one “talented host” less. To which Ostapchuk replied that her husband does not plan to leave the profession, as a job in Canada is already waiting for him.
“The host will continue to be a host. There are plenty of gigs in Europe right now, too—among my female followers as well, by the way. Plus, Vova studied at a university in Canada, and for the past six months he’s been taking classes remotely and passed his exams. Now he’s qualified to teach at Canadian universities, and there, opportunities are completely different from what we have here. Some universities have even invited him already,” the blogger stated.
In addition to the news about the move, Kateryna Ostapchuk announced the sale of her car, which her husband had given her. The blogger plans to sell her 2025 Range Rover Velar for $90,000. “Due to the move and the inability to transport the car to Canada because of their laws, we’re selling our cars. For now, I’m writing about mine. I’ll post an ad on Autoria in a few days, but considering that I sold my studio in one day via Stories, I’m writing to you first,” Ostapchuk added.
