The Tax Service will provide the Ministry of Defense with data on all men for the purpose of verifying their military registration status
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved new procedures for maintaining the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Persons Subject to Military Service, and Reservists, as well as a mechanism for the exchange of information between government agencies.
According to Resolution No. 981 of July 29, 2026, the State Tax Service will, within 90 days, provide the Ministry of Defense with a one-time transfer of data from the State Register of Individuals regarding Ukrainian citizens aged 18 to 60.
The government explains that this is necessary to update the data in the “Oberig” registry. The document also establishes the procedure for the Ministry of Defense to obtain information from the Office of the Prosecutor General regarding the criminal prosecution of conscripts, persons subject to military service, and reservists.
