Weather in Ukraine on June 22–23: Heat up to +31°, rain, and thunderstorms
On Monday, June 22, brief showers and thunderstorms in some areas are expected in most regions of Ukraine. It will remain dry mainly at night, as well as in the southern and southeastern regions.
According to the forecast, winds will be predominantly from the northwest at 7–12 m/s.
Nighttime temperatures will range from +14° to +19°, in the eastern regions from +11° to +16°, daytime temperatures from +26° to +31°, and in the east from +23° to +28°.
No precipitation is expected in the capital at night, but brief showers are possible during the day.
The air temperature at night will be +17...+19°, and around +30° during the day.
According to data from the Boris Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory, the highest temperature recorded in Kyiv on June 22 was in 2019 and stood at +34°, and the lowest nighttime temperature was +6.3° in 1910.
On Tuesday, June 23, brief showers and thunderstorms will continue across most of Ukraine. Only in the south and southeast of the country is no significant precipitation expected overnight.
In the Carpathians, fog is possible in some areas at night and in the morning.
Nighttime temperatures will range from +14° to +19°, reaching up to +22° in the south, and daytime temperatures will range from +26° to +31°.
In the capital, brief showers and thunderstorms in some areas are forecast.
Temperatures will range from +17 to +19° at night and from +26 to +28°during the day.
Forecasters warn that despite the precipitation, most regions will continue to experience summer-like heat with temperatures reaching up to +31 degrees.

On Sunday, June 21, warm and mostly sunny weather will persist across Ukraine. In some regions, temperatures will rise to +33 degrees, and forecasters do not predict any precipitation.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center released a forecast for the second month of spring, according to which temperatures and precipitation will remain within the climatic norm.
After a cold winter, Ukrainians are looking forward to the warmth of spring, but April will bring not only sunshine but also weather “ups and downs.”
