Weather in Ukraine on March 31: warm, with rain and sleet
On Tuesday, March 31, wet and unsettled weather is expected across Ukraine—with rain expected throughout most of the country. These weather conditions are caused by the influence of a cyclone.
This was reported by meteorologist Natalka Didenko on Telegram.
According to her, March will end with rains that are essential for nature’s spring renewal.
“In Ukraine, March will end with wet weather—occasional rains, which we are actually very happy about. Because without spring rains, green leaves simply refuse to appear,” the meteorologist noted.
Air temperatures will vary:
- in the west of the country—cool, +4…+9°C, with a chance of wet snow in the Carpathians;
- in most regions — +10…+15°C;
- in the central and eastern regions—up to +14…+19°C, particularly in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Cherkasy regions, as well as in the Kropyvnytskyi area.
Rainy but relatively warm weather is also expected in Kyiv—temperatures will rise to around +15°C.
According to preliminary forecasts, wet weather with periodic rain will persist throughout the week. At the same time, on Palm Sunday, precipitation is likely mainly in the south, while other regions will see more sunshine and moderately warm spring weather.
The second month of spring in Ukraine will be marked by moderate warmth and precipitation within the climatic norm.
