The U.S. has confirmed that its delegation will visit Kyiv and Moscow – Budanov
An American delegation plans to pay official visits to Kyiv and Moscow in the near future, and the United States has already officially confirmed these plans.
This was announced on Monday, June 1, by the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, during his press conference at the international forum “Security Architecture,” according to NV.
The head of the Office of the President categorically denied claims that the current negotiation process has allegedly reached an impasse. According to the head of the Office of the President, certain processes and contacts continue steadily, although they are currently mostly private in nature.
Budanov also separately reminded those present that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy himself had recently publicly announced that he was expecting the arrival of American representatives in the Ukrainian capital. Currently, all relevant Ukrainian government agencies are actively preparing for this upcoming important meeting, which is intended to coordinate further strategic steps.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has instructed officials to accelerate efforts to the maximum extent possible to cease active hostilities and achieve results toward ending the active phase of the war. This was stated by Kirill Budanov, Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate.
Ukraine is ready for dialogue with Russia provided Moscow is genuinely committed to serious talks; however, such meetings require careful preparation. Any direct contacts between the leaders of the warring states do not occur spontaneously or via ordinary telephone communication.
