The police were instructed to bring representatives of the foundation—where Fedorov has a reservation—to the TSK meeting
The Verkhovna Rada’s Temporary Investigative Commission decided to issue a subpoena to representatives of the “Eastern Europe” Charitable Foundation.
The decision was made after representatives of the organization failed to appear at the commission’s meeting. Eight members of the TSC voted in favor of the summons.
The commission will request that the National Police ensure the director of the foundation, the director of operations, or another authorized representative of the organization is brought to the meeting.
Representatives of “Eastern Europe” are scheduled to be heard during the TSC’s next meeting, which is set to take place on September 14. The commission emphasized that ignoring summonses carries consequences prescribed by law, so the deputies intend to use available mechanisms to obtain the necessary explanations.
The TSK is paying particular attention to the issue of the fund’s employees being summoned. Among the organization’s employees summoned is, in particular, former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
If the fund’s representatives fail to attend the September 14 hearing again, the commission plans to seek their compulsory appearance with police assistance.
