Poland has provided Ukraine with over 29,000 Starlink terminals and will fund them in 2026
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Poland has supplied Ukraine with more than 29,000 Starlink satellite communication terminals and continues to cover their operating costs.
Funding has already been allocated in Poland’s 2026 state budget, Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation reported.
The ministry noted that Poland remains the largest donor of satellite internet support to Ukraine and finances nearly 30,000 terminals.
“Since the start of the full-scale war, Poland has delivered more than 29,000 Starlink terminals and continues to financially support their operation. This is a tremendous contribution to Ukraine’s resilience,” the ministry said.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation emphasized that Starlink plays a crucial role in ensuring connectivity for hospitals, educational institutions, critical infrastructure facilities, and frontline areas, particularly during blackouts.
The Polish side stressed that supporting Ukraine’s digital resilience is an important component of security for the entire region.
In addition, the blocking of Starlink and restrictions on Telegram have created problems for Russian troops, according to Estonian intelligence.
Russian command has for the first time acknowledged the mass disconnection of Starlink terminals.
