Oleksiy Kavitsky, the son of the founders of Helen Marlen Group, one of Ukraine’s leading premium fashion retailers, has passed away. He was 39 years old.

Forbes reports this.

Kavitsky led the company’s e-commerce division and oversaw the digital transformation of the family business. It was he who initiated the digitization of the Helen Marlen store network in 2011 and developed the online division for nearly 15 years.

In 2018, Oleksiy launched the Samsonika project, the company’s research and development lab, as well as the Helen Marlen marketplace, which merged the Helen and Baby Marlen websites and a new app.

Helen Marlen Group was founded by Mykhailo and Oksana Kavitsky in 1994. The company started as a small shoe boutique and now represents over 190 global brands, including Loro Piana, Salvatore Ferragamo, Burberry, Gucci, Christian Louboutin, and others. Over 30 brands are represented in Ukraine exclusively through the Helen Marlen Group.

As a reminder, on March 22, 2026, in the Chernihiv region, Igor Rachok, a bandura player and Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine, passed away at the age of 90.
