The fire at the Iskra factory in Lviv has already claimed three lives
On August 22, the death toll from the fire at the Iskra factory in Lviv rose to three—rescue workers discovered the body of one more person. Earlier, the bodies of two victims were found at the scene of the fire, and five other workers suffered superficial burns and were hospitalized.
Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi reported this on Telegram.
“Update on the fire at the Iskra factory: rescuers have discovered the body of one more victim,” he wrote.
In total, three people are known to have died, Sadovyi noted.



As a reminder, a fire broke out at the Iskra plant in Lviv.
Earlier, a fire at a shopping mall in Kryvyi Rih was extinguished following a Russian strike.
Overnight, Russian drones attacked a shopping center in the Central District of Kherson. After the strike, a massive fire broke out, engulfing nearly the entire shopping center. The building and the property inside were virtually burned to the ground.
Over the past day, Russian troops attacked settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region 539 times. Three people were killed as a result of the Russian strikes, and another 19 residents of the region were injured.
Since the evening, Russian troops have attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region nearly 30 times. Three districts of the region came under fire, with the occupiers using drones and artillery. The attacks damaged homes, cars, and farm buildings, and fires broke out in several locations.
In the Kherson region over the past day, Russian troops again struck cities and villages in the region with airstrikes, drones, and artillery. Three people were killed in the attacks, and another 13 residents of the region were injured.
