The prosecutor's office is seeking a court order to establish the boundaries of Ivan Bagryany Park
The Shevchenkivskyi District Prosecutor’s Office in Kyiv has filed a petition with the court, demanding that the city authorities organize land-surveying work to define and establish the boundaries of the “Ivan Bagryany Park” historic park.
This is a park-monument of landscape architecture of local significance, for which the boundaries of the land plot must be officially defined.
This park is part of the natural reserve fund of local significance, is under special state protection, and holds important environmental, historical, cultural, recreational, and ecological significance for the territorial community of the city of Kyiv.
The Prosecutor’s Office has established that the Kyiv City Council, the Kyiv City State Administration, the Kyiv City Military Administration, and their structural units have, for a long time, failed to carry out work to define the park’s boundaries.
This failure makes it impossible to properly monitor the use of land in the nature reserve fund, creates conditions for its illegal use and unauthorized occupation, leads to violations of the reserve’s protection regime, and threatens the preservation of the park’s natural ecosystem.
Currently, the Kyiv District Administrative Court has opened proceedings in the case.

This was reported by the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.
The prosecutor’s office is demanding through the court that the Kyiv City Council grant protected status to the capital’s natural areas.
Previously, officials illegally transferred land between Lakes Koncha and Zaspa near Kyiv into private ownership. Its value is 930 million hryvnias.
