A psychologist from the Khmelnytskyi region was caught taking a $3,000 bribe
The State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) has exposed a psychologist at a medical facility in the Khmelnytskyi region who, according to the investigation, demanded $3,000 in exchange for assistance with military registration issues. According to investigators, the woman promised, for a fee, to help with issues related to military registration
“With the assistance of the National Police, SBI officers exposed a psychologist at a medical facility in the Khmelnytskyi region who, in exchange for money, promised conscripts assistance with military registration, deferments, and reservations,” the statement reads.
She demanded money to register individuals for military service without a fine
The woman cited her connections at the Shepetivka District Military Registration and Enlistment Office and the Special Forces. In one of the documented incidents, she demanded $3,000 from an acquaintance to register him for military service without a fine for failing to update his personal information on time.
Of this amount, she planned to keep $1,000 for herself and pass the rest on to officials who were supposed to ensure the man’s registration without penalties.
According to operational intelligence, the psychologist may also have facilitated deferrals from mobilization and military service reservations in exchange for money.
The psychologist was notified of the suspicion
She has been notified of suspicion of receiving an unlawful benefit for influencing the decision-making of public officials, combined with the extortion of such a benefit (Part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)

The DBR has launched an anti-corruption campaign titled “Bribes Have Consequences.”
The DBR did not detain SBU special forces officers for firing on GUR soldiers.
