The Rada has abolished the VAT on the supply of ground-based drones to the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada has approved tax breaks for military equipment. Specifically, the supply of ground-based robotic systems to the Defense Forces has been exempted from VAT. This is expected to speed up the provision of equipment to the army for evacuating the wounded and carrying out reconnaissance missions.

This was reported in parliament, according to UNN.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted Bill No. 15259, which is intended to help equip the Defense Forces with ground-based unmanned systems for transporting ammunition, evacuating the wounded, and conducting reconnaissance.

294 members of parliament voted in favor of the bill.

The document provides for an exemption from value-added tax on the supply of ground-based unmanned systems to Ukraine.

Parliament notes that the adoption of the law will facilitate the faster provision of robotic platforms to the Ukrainian military, which are used for logistics, evacuating the wounded, delivering ammunition, and conducting reconnaissance missions.
