Russia has spread a false story about the forced mobilization of women in Ukraine
Russian propaganda has launched a new wave of disinformation regarding the alleged forced mobilization of women in Ukraine, claiming that they are being conscripted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
The Center for Countering Disinformation reported this in an official statement.
Hostile sources cite an anonymous resident of the Kharkiv region and claim that Ukrainian women are being forced to sign contracts under threat of criminal charges or the loss of social benefits.
The Center emphasized that all this information is completely untrue, and that through such disinformation campaigns, Russia is attempting to intimidate residents of frontline regions and discredit the Ukrainian Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies.
In Ukraine, women may enlist in military service exclusively on a voluntary basis. Currently, there are no adopted decisions or even draft laws regarding the mandatory mobilization of women in the country, so the statements disseminated by the enemy are fabrications.
Russian propaganda has launched a new wave of disinformation about the alleged mass influx of migrants from India, Pakistan, and other countries into Ukraine. Photos, videos, and AI-generated images are being circulated on social media and Telegram channels, creating the impression of a “replacement” of the population.
