Sadovyi commented on the incident involving a water-throwing prank in downtown Lviv
Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi commented on this morning’s incident in downtown Lviv, during which an unknown man poured a bucket of dirty liquid on him. According to the mayor, he does not consider this an assassination attempt and described the incident as “hooliganism.” The incident occurred in the city center, and the circumstances are being investigated.

According to Sadovyi, after the incident, he simply changed his clothes and continued his workday. “I was walking to work this morning—a man ran up and poured a bucket of dirty liquid on my back. That’s all. I changed my clothes. I’ll wash my clothes tonight,” wrote the mayor of Lviv.

Sadovyi emphasized that he does not consider the incident an assassination attempt. “This is hooliganism, not an assassination attempt. I’ve been attacked before, so I’m used to it. Don’t blow this out of proportion,” he stated.
The mayor also thanked everyone who expressed their support after the incident. “But thank you for your concern. Everything is fine,” Sadovyi added.

The Polish government is considering funding the construction of the M10 highway, which will connect the Korchova–Krakovets border crossing with Lviv.
