In Lviv, a man fired a pellet gun in the street
In Lviv, law enforcement officers detained a man who fired a pellet gun into the air. The incident occurred on the evening of May 14 on Hnat Hotkevych Street.
This was reported by the Lviv Regional Police.
According to the police, at around 7:20 p.m., the man fired approximately ten shots into the air and then fled the scene. No one was injured as a result of the incident.
Law enforcement officers quickly identified the shooter. He turned out to be a 34-year-old resident of Lviv. The man was detained.
During the investigation, police seized an object resembling an air gun. The weapon was sent for examination.
A criminal case has been opened regarding the incident under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine—hooliganism.
The penalty under this article provides for three to seven years of imprisonment.
Earlier, police identified and brought to justice a 57-year-old resident of Cherkasy who opened fire in the middle of the street.
