The SBU has charged Russian generals in connection with the missile strike on Kharkiv

The Security Service of Ukraine has formally charged, in absentia, Russian generals and a vice admiral who organized the missile strike on Kharkiv on May 23, 2024.

This was reported by the SBU.

According to the investigation, Russian forces launched three S-300 missiles at a civilian printing plant.

The attack killed 7 people and injured 9 others. Production facilities and a significant amount of educational literature were also destroyed.

Investigators determined that the decision to launch the strike was made by Colonel General Alexei Kim, and several other high-ranking Russian military officials were involved in the planning and execution of the attack.

Specifically, these include Colonel Sergei Monetov, Vice Admiral Alexander Peshkov, and Lieutenant General Andrei Tsyganov.

They are accused of violating the laws and customs of war, which led to the loss of human life.

Ukrainian law enforcement agencies are taking steps to locate them and bring them to justice.

The SBU detained a Russian agent who was guiding rocket-powered drones toward Kharkiv in real time.

The SBU has released the interrogation of an occupier who shot Ukrainian prisoners of war in the Kursk region.
