The SBU and the National Police have uncovered seven schemes to evade mobilization
The SBU and the National Police have dismantled seven schemes for evading military service and mobilization in various regions of Ukraine, detaining 18 organizers.
In the Zhytomyr region, fake cancer diagnoses and disability certificates were issued for $15,000. According to the investigation, nearly 50 men subject to military service took advantage of the scheme.
In Odesa, for $15,000, individuals helped arrange fake diagnoses for illegal exemption from service, while another group sold disability certificates for $4,000.
In the Cherkasy region, authorities detained a blogger who published the routes of the TCC’s mobile units, as well as a former official who issued fictitious guardian status for $2,000.
In the Khmelnytskyi region, for 14,000 euros, they organized fictitious employment and travel reservations to send men abroad. In Vinnytsia, a military servicemember helped mobilized soldiers illegally leave their military unit for $9,500.
Those detained face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.

Earlier, a female General Staff officer was detained for accepting a bribe of $14,000.
In the Chernihiv region, a detained deserter attempted to offer a bribe of 40,000 hryvnias.
