What Ukrainians Buy Most on AliExpress and Temu: A Study
Only 3% of Ukrainians purchase military-related goods on international marketplaces—such as drone parts, tactical clothing, or gear—while clothing, footwear, and home goods remain the most popular categories.
This is evidenced by the results of a study by the Info Sapiens agency.
According to the survey, 79% of Ukrainians have purchased goods from abroad at least once, and 31% place such orders several times a month or more often. Clothing and footwear, as well as home goods, are ordered by 51% of respondents.

Only 3% of respondents cited the conditions of international purchases as one of the main economic problems. Ukrainians are most concerned about income levels, food prices, and utility rates.

More than half of respondents support equal tax rules for Ukrainian stores and foreign marketplaces. Specifically, 54% believe that imported goods should also be subject to VAT if a similar Ukrainian business pays this tax.

The survey was conducted via online interviews with 1,500 respondents from various regions of Ukraine.
As a reminder, France has filed a lawsuit against AliExpress and Joom over sex dolls shaped like children.
Previously, AliExpress violated EU rules regarding illegal goods.
