Sybiga stated that the surge in Russian disinformation about the Gulf countries is linked to Ukraine’s successes

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga stated that the intensification of Russian disinformation regarding the Gulf states is a reaction to Ukraine’s growing influence in the region.

According to him, Russia resorted to information attacks after Ukraine achieved tangible results in its cooperation with Middle Eastern states.

Sybiga noted that Russian propaganda is spreading false claims about Ukraine’s alleged failure to fulfill its obligations and other fabricated issues in an attempt to undermine trust in Kyiv.

He emphasized that the partnership with Gulf countries is based on Ukraine’s practical experience in the security sector, which strengthens its international standing.

The minister also stressed that these information attacks will have no effect, as partners are well aware of Ukraine’s actual contributions and the results of cooperation.

Ukraine continues to expand its participation in international security frameworks and cooperates with countries facing attacks from the Iranian regime.

Ukraine could deploy a military presence in Libya to carry out attacks on Russian ships in the Mediterranean Sea.
