Victor Yushchenko's son has returned to Kyiv from the U.S.
Taras, the son of Ukraine’s third president, Viktor Yushchenko, has returned to Kyiv from abroad and is working at a company that, according to his father, is working toward Ukraine’s victory.
Taras, Viktor Yushchenko’s youngest son, studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States, where he gained knowledge and skills in engineering and scientific technology.
According to the former president, after completing his studies, his son returned to Ukraine and is working in Kyiv at a classified facility.
“He finished his studies and is working in Kyiv at a very interesting classified plant that is working toward victory,” Viktor Yushchenko said.
Earlier, the third president had mentioned that Taras’s future career path is related to rocket and aircraft engineering.
Viktor Yushchenko also mentioned that his entire family recently got together. The former president has five children and five grandchildren.
The family is planning a trip together to Khoruzhivka in the Sumy region—Viktor Yushchenko’s hometown.
However, due to the constant Russian shelling of the Sumy region, the family is waiting for a safer time to travel.
“All my children have come together now. We’re choosing a day when there’s less shelling, and then we’ll go. All together! I have five children and five grandchildren, so that’s quite a group,” the politician said.
The former president shared this in a comment on the show “Morning in the Big City.”
As a reminder, Ukraine’s third president, Viktor Yushchenko, was elected chairman of the supervisory board of the National Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide. He now heads the institution’s advisory body, which addresses issues related to the museum’s development and support of its activities.
