In Ternopil, a group of people attacked employees of the TCC
On the evening of August 25, on Les Kurbas Street in Ternopil, a group of people began attacking a TCC service vehicle and got into a confrontation with military personnel during a document check. As a result of the altercation, TCC personnel sustained injuries; police are identifying the participants and determining the circumstances of the incident.
While military personnel were speaking with a man, a group of citizens approached the official vehicle. They began striking the vehicle and got into an argument with the military personnel, resulting in physical injuries to the TCC employees. The conflict was brought to an end by an investigative-operational team and additional police units that arrived to stabilize the situation.
Law enforcement officials are currently identifying all participants in the incident, assessing the damage caused, and determining the severity of the victims’ injuries. The issue of opening criminal proceedings under Article 350 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (threats or violence against a public official or a citizen performing a civic duty) is being considered. The police urge citizens to avoid aggression and to resolve any disputes exclusively through legal channels.

The TCC soldier who died in Lviv had been mobilized in June.
Earlier, law enforcement officials detained the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Registration and Enlistment Office and a co-conspirator on suspicion of receiving illicit benefits totaling 15,000 U.S. dollars. According to the investigation, the official was caught in the act of receiving $10,000 for failing to take mobilization measures against three conscripts, removing them from the “Oberig” system’s wanted list, and ensuring conditions for their continued employment at their places of work.
In Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, a senior lieutenant—the deputy company commander at one of the district Military Registration and Enlistment Offices—was detained on suspicion of assaulting a subordinate servicemember. The man was intoxicated at the time.
