Forecasters predict a warm start to October in Ukraine

Next week, from September 28 to October 4, Ukraine will see mostly dry and moderately warm weather. According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, early October will bring comfortable temperatures with no significant precipitation across most of the country.

From September 28 to 30, daytime temperatures will range from 15 to 22°C, while in Zakarpattia, temperatures will rise to 24°C. At night, temperatures will drop to 4–11°C, while in the south and southeast of the country, nighttime temperatures will remain around 14°C. The wind will be predominantly northeasterly at 5–10 m/s, though in the southern and southeastern regions, gusts of up to 15–20 m/s are possible in some areas.

The first days of October, from the 1st to the 4th, will also be marked by dry air and sunny weather in most regions. In particular, in Kyiv, Dnipro, and Kharkiv, the beginning of the month will be warm and sunny, while in the western regions—specifically in Lviv—cloudier weather with a gradual drop in temperature is forecast starting in early October.

Overall, the average monthly temperature in October is expected to range from 6 to 12°C, and precipitation is forecast to range from 31 to 77 mm, which is fully in line with the climatic norm for this time of year.
