Syrsky briefed Zelenskyy on the hottest spots along the front line

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he had heard briefings from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi and Chief of the General Staff Andriy Hnatov regarding the situation on the front lines. The discussions focused specifically on the course of hostilities, Ukraine’s long-range strikes, and their impact on Russia.

This was reported with reference to Zelenskyy’s post on Telegram.

According to the president, the prospects in the Oleksandrivka and Pokrovsk directions were discussed separately during the meeting. It is there, as Zelenskyy noted, that the Russian army’s greatest efforts are currently concentrated, and consequently, the main resistance from Ukrainian forces.

The head of state thanked Ukrainian units for their “tangible results” in defeating the Russian occupiers.

Separately, according to Zelenskyy, there was a briefing on Ukrainian diplomatic strikes and related priorities. The head of state emphasized that long-range sanctions are already affecting Russian revenues, primarily oil revenues.

"This is being felt in both the northeastern and southeastern sectors of active long-range operations," he added.

The president also announced that he had approved further steps in consultation with military leadership. He stated that Ukraine’s strong positions on the front lines and in long-range operations should also serve to strengthen Ukraine’s diplomatic stance and relations with partners.

"That is exactly what is happening. Ukraine is defending itself and demonstrating its ability to strengthen the security of others," he concluded.
