Slovakia will continue to host Ukrainian children for health retreats — Foreign Minister
Slovakia will continue to host Ukrainian children for health and rehabilitation programs. This was announced by Juraj Blanár, Slovakia’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, during a joint press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga in Vinnytsia.
According to Blanár, the Slovak side will continue to organize health camps for Ukrainian children affected by the war.
“I would like to announce that we will continue to organize health camps for children. Because children suffer from various traumas,” he noted.
The Slovak Foreign Minister added that, following agreements with the Ukrainian side, local authorities are expected to be involved in organizing recreational and health programs for children from various regions of Ukraine.
As a reminder, Slovakiahas begun receiving Russian oil via the Druzhba pipeline.
Slovak President Peter Pellegrini stated that the country is ramping up ammunition production and is already among the key suppliers within NATO. According to him, the volume of military aid to Ukraine will continue to grow.
