Ukrenergo does not anticipate any power outages on July 12
In Ukraine, there are no plans to implement power outage schedules on Sunday, July 12. At the same time, energy officials are urging Ukrainians to use electricity sparingly, especially during hours when the load on the grid can be reduced.
If possible, they recommend using high-power electrical appliances during the day, when the power grid operates more stably. The company noted that, as of today, there are no plans to impose restrictions on residential consumers. Therefore, on Sunday, Ukrainians will be able to use electricity without scheduled power outages, provided the situation in the power grid does not change.
At the same time, energy officials remind the public that even in the absence of restrictions, it is important not to overload the grid. “We ask that you use electricity wisely and, if possible, shift the use of high-power appliances to daytime hours—from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.,” Ukrenergo urged.
It is during this period that the power grid has greater capacity to meet demand, so using washing machines, water heaters, air conditioners, or other energy-intensive appliances during the day helps reduce the load in the evening hours. Energy officials also emphasize that the situation in the power grid may change depending on the consequences of Russian attacks, weather conditions, and consumption levels.
Therefore, Ukrainians are advised to continue monitoring official announcements from Ukrenergo and their distribution system operators to promptly receive up-to-date information about possible changes. This was reported by Ukrenergo.
