The heat wave continues: What will the weather be like in Ukraine this weekend?
“On the night of August 8 in the west, north, and Vinnytsia region, and during the day across Ukraine—except for most western regions—there will be moderate, and in some places heavy, rain and thunderstorms; and during the day in some areas, hail and squalls of 15–20 m/s,” the report states.
It is noted that on Sunday, Ukraine will be mostly dry, with only brief showers and thunderstorms in the southeastern part of the country during the day.
According to forecasters, the wind will be from the north at 5–10 m/s.
Over the weekend, nighttime temperatures will range from 15–23°; daytime temperatures from 24–30°. On August 8, the south and east of the country will experience intense heat of 35–37°.
In Kyiv and the surrounding region, tomorrow will be cloudy with some sunny intervals. Moderate rain is expected, with heavy rain in some areas of the region at night, along with thunderstorms. The wind will be from the north at 5–10 m/s.
In the capital, temperatures will be around 20° at night and 25–27° during the day; in the Kyiv region, temperatures will range from 18–23° at night to 24–29° during the day.

According to data from the Boris Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory, the average monthly air temperature in Kyiv in July was 20.8°C, which is 0.5°C below the climatic norm.
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has issued a warning about heat reaching 38° and a fire hazard.
