Shooting in Odessa: Injured patrol officers in critical condition

In response to the incident, the State Bureau of Investigation opened a case for abuse of power or official authority, and the police opened a case for an attempt on the lives of law enforcement officers. The penalties under these articles carry a sentence of up to life imprisonment.
