Court Hands Down Sentence to Company for Failing to Deliver Drones to the Military
The Commercial Court of Rivne Oblast ruled to order Domprombud LLC to pay nearly 25 million UAH (13.24 million UAH in late fees, UAH 11.64 million in fines, and UAH 298,000 in court fees). The reason was a failure to meet the delivery deadlines for drones intended for the Ukrainian military.
In December 2025, the agency signed a contract with the company worth 206.08 million hryvnias for the purchase of 1,400 DJI unmanned aerial vehicle systems, with a delivery deadline of January 12, 2026.
However, the company delivered only 270 units late, after which the Ministry of Defense unilaterally terminated the contract. The court rejected the defendant’s arguments regarding delays on the part of the Chinese supplier, noting that the company acted as an intermediary and that these circumstances did not constitute force majeure.
This is evidenced by the court’s decision dated July 23.
As a reminder, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, together with the “State Logistics Operator,” is preparing to update the technical specifications for individual food rations. The changes are based on the results of a survey conducted via the “Army+” app, in which more than 60,000 military personnel participated.
For the first time, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has included halal and kosher dry rations in daily field rations. This decision was made with consideration for the religious beliefs of service members and to improve nutritional standards in the Armed Forces.
