The court set bail at 3 million hryvnias for the MP in the case of illicit enrichment
The High Anti-Corruption Court has imposed a bail of 3 million hryvnias on a member of the 9th convocation of the Verkhovna Rada who is suspected of illicit enrichment.
The High Anti-Corruption Court announced this on Facebook.
The bail must be posted no later than five days from the date the preventive measure was imposed.
The suspect is also required to refrain from communicating with individuals specified in the investigating judge’s ruling, to appear before detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and prosecutors of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office whenever summoned for investigative or procedural actions, and notify NABU detectives, SAPO prosecutors, or the court of any change of residence or employment.
The suspect is prohibited from leaving Kyiv without the permission of NABU and the SAP.
The High Anti-Corruption Court notes: the MP has been charged under Article 368-5 (illegal enrichment) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
According to Suspilne, the case involves Oleksandr Kachny, a member of parliament from the banned political party “Opposition Platform – For Life.”
The High Anti-CorruptionCourt extended the term of Tetyana Krupa’s release on bail.
