On the morning of April 17, the Ukrainian foreign exchange market saw another rise in the exchange rates of the dollar and the euro. Foreign currencies gained value both at banks and at currency exchange offices—by an average of 10–27 kopecks compared to the previous day.

This is evidenced by market monitoring data.

At cash exchange offices, the dollar is selling for approximately 43.80 UAH, and the euro for 51.60 UAH. In the banking sector, the average selling rate for the dollar is about 43.85 UAH, and for the euro, 51.77 UAH.

Among institutions with the highest dollar selling rates are PUMB (44.10 UAH) and PrivatBank (44.05 UAH). At Monobank, the dollar is selling for 44.04 UAH, and the euro for 52.02 UAH.

At currency exchange offices, according to market data, the selling rate for the dollar hovers around 43.80 UAH, and the buying rate is around 43.65 UAH. The euro is bought on average at 51.40 UAH and sold at 51.60 UAH.

Analysts note a general trend toward a gradual rise in exchange rates amid market fluctuations.

As a reminder, on Thursday, April 16, Ukraine’s currency market came under significant pressure, triggering another wave of hryvnia devaluation.

The share of the U.S. dollar in global currency and gold reserves fell to approximately 46%, the lowest level in the past 26 years.

In Ukraine, the dollar has risen in value at currency exchange offices.
