Svyrydenko held a meeting with Ukrenergo regarding the stability of the power grid
Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko held a coordination meeting with the leadership of NPC "Ukrenergo" and representatives of the energy sector regarding the current situation in Ukraine's power grid.
She announced this on Telegram.
According to the head of government, joint actions were agreed upon during the meeting to support the stable operation of the power grid, particularly regarding the increase in electricity imports.
“We coordinated joint actions to support the stable operation of the power grid, specifically regarding the increase in electricity imports,” Svyrydenko wrote.
She also noted that Ukraine’s power grid is currently operating stably. According to her, energy officials are making efforts to avoid implementing power outage schedules in the coming days.
As a reminder, Ukraine will need nearly $91 billion over the next ten years to fully restore the energy sector.
As a reminder, Shmyhal discussed $1.4 billion with the U.S. for energy sector restoration.
Shmyhal also visited an energy facility in western Ukraine, where additional protective structures are being built.
