According to the journalists, the woman who was with him during the attack was not his common-law wife, but 46-year-old Anna Nasobina, whom foreign media refer to as his common-law wife.
According to the publication, the woman suffered extremely severe injuries as a result of the explosion—doctors were forced to amputate both of her legs. She is in critical condition at a hospital in Nice. Their 13-year-old son was also injured, but his life is reportedly not in danger.
The Sun notes that Nasobina is a lawyer, resides in the United Kingdom, and has headed the British company Wycombe Square Investments LLP since 2023. The publication also reports that she is the daughter of the former first deputy prosecutor of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
