Diesel could start costing 95–96 hryvnias per liter this week — energy expert
Fuel prices in Ukraine could rise significantly in the coming days.
This was stated by energy expert Stanislav Ignatyev on the air of Den.LIVE.
According to him, diesel could rise to 95–96 UAH per liter, and gasoline to 92–94 UAH.
The reason is the high purchase cost of fuel, as stipulated in supply contracts.
At the same time, the state-owned company “Ukrnafta” is currently helping to curb the sharp rise in prices.
It acts as a sort of “anchor,” forcing other networks to maintain competitive prices.
As of the morning of March 29, fuel prices in Ukraine had stabilized after a prolonged rise.
