In March, the average salary in Ukraine rose by 7.2% — State Statistics Service

In March 2026, the average salary for full-time employees in Ukraine reached 30,356 hryvnias, an increase of 7.2% compared to February.

According to the published data, in March 2026, the average salary of full-time employees across Ukraine was 30,356 UAH, compared to 28,321 UAH in February (+7.2%).

According to the State Statistics Service, the highest average wages were recorded in the capital—49,381 UAH—and in the Kyiv region—29,997 UAH. The lowest average wages were among workers in the Kirovohrad region (21,375 UAH) and the Chernivtsi region (21,453 UAH).

The information and telecommunications sector remains the leader in terms of wages—85,673 UAH (78,941 UAH in February). The lowest wages are among educators—19,394 UAH (18,826 UAH in February).

Wage arrears as of April 1, 2026, amount to 3.6 billion UAH.
