In Bila Tserkva, a 13-year-old boy became Ukraine’s youngest barber
In Bila Tserkva, a 13-year-old boy became Ukraine’s youngest barber and set a national record. The boy was officially entered into the Ukrainian Book of Records thanks to his achievement in the field of barbering.
While setting the record, the young record-holder demonstrated his skills on models, independently “creating beauty” on their heads, the activist noted. His task for the record attempt was to independently perform a trendy men’s haircut, meticulously style a beard, and demonstrate his ability to cut children’s hair.
Oleksandr succeeded in everything and ultimately earned the title of record holder.

At age 12, the boy enrolled in the BARBERSSHOP OB Barbering School in Bila Tserkva, where he enthusiastically dove into a world that was new to him — he “honed his skills” in master classes led by renowned masters Kenzo and Bled Raineri.
Barbering isn’t the boy’s only passion, says Vetrova. Since the age of four, Oleksandr has been boxing at one of the local schools and has achieved significant athletic success.
“His hand doesn’t waver, whether in the ring or while performing a perfect fade,” the article states.
Today, he combines barbering and sports and sets new goals for himself—to grow, learn from the best masters, and represent Ukraine on the international stage.
This was reported by Lana Vetrova, head of the National Register of Records of Ukraine.
