The 2027 budget will allocate funds for a resilience service — Svyrydenko

The 2027 state budget is expected to include funding for the resilience program, which is set to become a permanent state initiative following a successful pilot launch in local communities.

This was reported by Ukrinform.

Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko stated that the state is transitioning from a pilot phase to the systematic implementation of this service.

“The resilience-building service is fairly new; as a state, we initially launched it in a pilot phase. Our goal is to ensure this service becomes a systemic initiative. Therefore, in the 2027 budget, we anticipate that this will be a permanent program procured by the state,” she noted.

According to Svyrydenko, a market for social service providers is already taking shape, and competition is emerging among civil society organizations to participate in such programs.

Currently, there are 286 resilience centers operating in Ukraine, and the number is planned to increase to 400 by the end of the year. The government also aims to have a social manager in every community to coordinate service delivery.

At these centers, Ukrainians receive help in coping with stress, psychological and emotional support, and family counseling. In the future, other social services may also be consolidated there, including some of the services currently provided by the employment service.

The Ministry of Social Policy is working to establish a unified standard for this service to ensure quality control and its development.

The government plans to allocate 638 million hryvnias to fund the “Yedyni Novyny” telethon.

Prior to this, an investigation was published showing that the Office of the President is spending exorbitant amounts of public funds on the television business. In 2025, the Office of the President allocated 800 million hryvnias for the “United Marathon” and another 184 million hryvnias for the “We Are Ukraine” channel.
