Dii issued a reminder regarding the expiration date of the National Cashback program

Ukrainians who received payments under the “National Cashback” program should hurry to use the funds. The money credited for April must be spent by June 30. After this date, any unused funds will not remain in the account—they will be returned to the state budget. This was noted by the “Diya” service.

At the end of May, Ukrainians will receive cashback for purchases made in April. This money is deposited onto a special card, but now there is a strict deadline for using it. If the funds remain unused by June 30, they will automatically be returned to the budget.

In other words, it will no longer be possible to simply let the payments accumulate for months. “Diya” urges users to check their balance and decide in advance how to spend the money they receive.

After June ends, the program will continue to operate as usual. Ukrainians will receive cashback for purchases made in May as early as July. Going forward, payments will be made after the 20th of each month.

The maximum payout amount remains unchanged. As before, you can receive up to 3,000 hryvnias in cashback per month.

National Cashback funds cannot simply be withdrawn as cash or transferred to another account. Specific uses have been designated for them. In particular, the money can be spent on:

  • utility bills;
  • medicines and medical supplies;
  • books and printed materials;
  • postal services;
  • Ukrainian-made goods;
  • charitable donations;
  • donations to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

So even if you don’t have an urgent need to buy anything right now, you can direct your funds toward helping the army or supporting charitable projects.

The “National Cashback” program was created to support Ukrainian manufacturers and stimulate demand for goods made in Ukraine. The concept is simple: a person buys a Ukrainian product participating in the program and then receives a portion of the money spent back. In essence, this is a government incentive for supporting Ukrainian businesses.

However, cashback is not awarded for all purchases. Only Ukrainian-made goods that are officially included in the list participate in the program. At the same time, cashback does not apply to most excise-taxed goods. An exception is made only for certain types of Ukrainian wine and non-alcoholic honey drinks.

The program sets both a minimum and a maximum payout amount. The minimum cashback is 2 hryvnias per month. The maximum amount you can receive is up to 3,000 hryvnias in a single month. The payout amount depends on how many Ukrainian-made goods the program participant has purchased and whether they are included in the list of products eligible for cashback.

If you have already received your payment for April, you should check your card balance. There is still time until June 30, but after that date, the money will automatically be returned to the state. Therefore, “Dii” advises against waiting until the last minute to use your cashback and recommends deciding in advance where to allocate it—toward paying bills, making purchases, donating to charity, or supporting the Ukrainian military.
