A service for porting phone numbers to lifecell is now available on Dii
The "Diya" app has launched a feature that allows users to apply to port their mobile number to lifecell while keeping their number and carrier code.
To do this, users need to submit a request in the app, purchase a lifecell SIM card in a store or online, add its number to the request, and wait for confirmation from their current carrier.
After that, the subscriber will receive an SMS with the date and time of the porting, and once the process begins, they must insert the lifecell SIM card.
"Diia" emphasizes that during the transfer, the phone number—including the carrier code—remains unchanged; only the mobile network changes.
In the future, they plan to launch a similar service for other mobile operators as well.
