In Dnipro, a man opened fire on a paramedic after an ambulance was called

In Dnipro, a paramedic came under fire from a man who had called for an ambulance himself, according to the regional council.

This was reported by Mykola Lukashuk, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council.

"The ambulance arrived at the scene. A drunk patient with a loaded pistol and a kitchen knife demanded to be taken to the Igrin Hospital. When they refused, he started shooting," Lukashuk wrote.

He added that the paramedics were not injured.

"After the terrorist attack in Kyiv, the issue of legalizing short-barreled firearms has resurfaced. I wrote about this earlier. My position has not changed. Society has been living under the stress of a full-scale war for five years. Traumatized, exhausted, aggressive. Fatigue, emotional breakdowns, unstable states. This is the daily reality of ambulances and emergency rooms. Free access to weapons will lead to more domestic tragedies," Lukashuk emphasized.

In Dnipro, a Russian drone carrying explosives was retrieved from a body of water.

In the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv, law enforcement officers discovered the warhead of a Russian Iskander-K missile. A controlled destruction of the munition is planned at the site.

On the night of April 15, three people were injured in Dnipro and the surrounding region as a result of Russian drone strikes, and damage to civilian infrastructure was reported.
