A community leader in the Donetsk region was killed in a traffic accident
Kateryna Milyuta, head of the Ocheretynskyi Starosta District, died in a traffic accident. The Oleksandrivka Settlement Military Administration reported her death.
Community officials noted that Kateryna Milyuta had worked diligently for the district’s residents for many years, always supporting people and helping those in need.
“The Oleksandrivka Settlement Territorial Community has suffered an irreparable and painful loss. Kateryna Valeriivna Milyuta, head of the Ocheretyn District, died in a traffic accident,” the statement reads.
The town’s military administration emphasized that she stood by the people even during the most difficult times, and her kindness, sincerity, and dedication to the community will forever remain in the memories of those who knew her.
“This sudden loss leaves an icy void in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know this wonderful, radiant woman,” the administration noted.

As a reminder, the Pryluky City and District Court in Chernihiv Oblast sentenced a former police officer to eight years in prison for a fatal traffic accident that resulted in the death of a six-year-old child.
In Lviv Oblast, a 68-year-old driver of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, who was under the influence of alcohol, fatally struck a Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemember. This was reported by the Lviv Oblast Prosecutor’s Office.
