The EU thanked Fedorov for his work following his dismissal from the government
European Commissioner for Defense Andrius Kubilius and European Union Ambassador to Ukraine Katarina Maternová thanked Mykhailo Fedorov for his cooperation following reports of his resignation as defense minister.
Kubilius noted that Fedorov had made a significant contribution to strengthening the defense of Ukraine and Europe, and emphasized that European partners had learned a great deal from Ukraine’s defense experience.
For her part, Maternová highlighted their joint work on digital projects and programs to support Ukraine. She also stressed the importance of the information campaign, which helped demonstrate to the world that Russia is not achieving its goals.

As a reminder, Fedorov accused Syrsky of blocking the Ministry of Defense’s initiatives.
Zelenskyy offered Fedorov a new position following his resignation.
Fedorov stated that he had served Zelenskyy for seven years without any political ambitions.
